Getting Started with AMFA Manager
How To Play
Teams
Teams are from different geographical regions, which create local rivalries that may affect your players' performance in such derby matches.
To expand your squad, transfers of players are available at any time. Bids must be registered with the owning manager. Once accepted, you will have the opportunity to offer a contract to the player. It will take approximately two hours for the player to make a decision.
Playing Matches
You have to schedule all matches with your opponent. If that happens to be a computer-controlled team, then they will accept instantly as long as there is no clash.
Once arranged, click the Play Now! link. You will need the latest version of Flash to play. Be sure to give yourself enough time before kick off to enter your team on time, as the match will be played without you otherwise.
Also, be sure to arrange your match in good time before the end of the round, as incomplete matches will be replayed.
To try to help avoid this, matches must be scheduled at least five minutes before the end of the round.
If You Miss A Match
If you can't make it to a match, or you don't schedule your match for that particular round, then it will be played for you.
However, this isn't the end of the world as you have an Assistant Manager who can help out. He can be set-up to make changes according to the match situation.
But be warned, the assistant wont put much effort into picking a team for you. So it is your job to ensure you have enough players available, and that the team is selected. Otherwise, you may be disappointed with results.
